Shriners holding a drive-thru fish fry today

HENDERSON — The Tri-County Shrine Club will hold its annual fish fry today from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Diners can pick up their plates at the Sherman & Boddie Building, 210 Industry Drive in Henderson, just past Lowe’s Home Improvement Store and Mako Medical Laboratories. “It’s going to be take-out only,” said Donald Seifert, club treasurer, Perhaps a more precise description is “drive-thru.” Fish aficionados can drive through the parking area to pick up their boxed dinners that include fish, slaw, potato salad and hushpuppies. The cost is $10 per plate. Proceeds will be used for a variety of projects of the Tri-County Shrine Club, Seifter said. Funds have traditionally been raised for the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
