The Equalizer is about to wrap up its first season, with Robyn McCall (played by Queen Latifah) getting equal for one last time this season. With the show one of the breakout network TV hits of the year, there are plenty of viewers ready for Season 2. Here s what we know about the future of the CBS series.

The Equalizer?
The Equalizer was renewed for Season 2 back in March 2021, when CBS had only aired four of its first 10 episodes.
At that time, CBS Entertainment President Kelly Kahl said in a statement:
The Equalizer airs tonight on CBS with an all-new Sunday, May 23, 2021, season 1 episode 10 Finale called
“Reckoning,” and we have your The Equalizer recap below. On tonight’s The Equalizer episode as per the CW synopsis,
“Both sides of McCall’s life converge when her daughter Delilah and her school friends are threatened by a European crime syndicate for being eyewitnesses to the outfit’s execution of a drug cartel boss.

Q: I was a big fan of the original âEqualizer.â I recently saw part of an episode of another version that featured a largely Black cast, including the title character, and was set in Europe. Can you tell me anything about this? Was it a series, and where can I find it?
A: For those of you tuning in late, âThe Equalizerâ was originally a series on CBS from 1985 to 1989. Edward Woodward starred as the title character, named Robert McCall, for most of the run. Richard Jordan played another character helping with the equalizing for a time when Woodward had to lighten his schedule following a heart attack.
