The first series, entitled Skull Island, will be a new chapter in Legendary’s MonsterVerse franchise and will center on a group of shipwrecked characters as they desperately attempt to escape the most dangerous place on Earth the titular mysterious island home to prehistoric monsters, including the greatest titan of them all, Kong. ....
New SKULL ISLAND And TOMB RAIDER Animated Series In Development For Netflix Netflix has announced that two new anime shows are in development for the streaming service: A Kong: Skull Island spinoff, and a Tomb Raider series based on the recent video game reboot trilogy. Skull Island will be set in Legendary s Monsterverse, and focus on a shipwrecked crew, an island of monsters, and one king to rule them all.
