The guest speaker is local artist, farmer, landscaper and teacher from Georgetown, Kate MacGillivary. She will speak on “Why Botanical Art and Illustrations?” She will share with us her botanical art, her personal journey, and some of the artists who have inspired her. She believes plants and flowers inspire, conjure love, and express feeling. They also provide homes for many creatures, including humans.
