CLEVELAND, Ohio – Thirteen Democratic candidates filed petitions by the Wednesday deadline to run in the 11th Congressional District race to replace former Rep. Marcia Fudge.
The packed field included many notable names whose campaigns are already active and excluded one who announced his candidacy but ultimately decided against running: former state Rep. Bryan Flannery. Two Republicans also filed for the primary in the district that is heavily gerrymandered to favor Democrats.
