The minister for superannuation had to drop a provision in the Your Super Your Future Bill last week which would allow the government the right to veto investments by super funds in businesses like The New Daily.
According to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell, that was following indications from Craig Kelly and Barnaby Joyce that they would oppose the measure in the House of Representatives. ....
Liberal Senator Jane Hume says one good thing that has come out of the latest Victorian COVID-19 outbreak has been Victorians getting vaccinated "in droves".
"If it's one good thing that can come out of this crisis is that Victorians are now getting out there and getting vaccinated in droves," Ms Hume said.

Ms Hume said the 95 per cent subsidy for families with a second or subsequent child in childcare will allow around 40,000 people to work an extra day each week. “That will contribute to the economy by about $1.5 billion in GDP per year,” she said. “So it is a terrific outcome.
