The misconduct of a disgraced Vancouver police detective was “brazen” and escalating in nature as it related to the victims of a pimp who is appealing his convictions, a lawyer for the offender said Monday.
Lawyers for Reza Moazami, who was found guilty in September 2014 of 30 criminal counts in connection with the operation of a prostitution ring involving 11 complainants, are seeking to have the convictions overturned and a new trial ordered.
