SIR – The Brexit trade agreement secured by Boris Johnson is not the perfect deal that many of us dreamt of when we voted to leave the EU in 2016. But that was never going to happen – and, while the devil is in the detail, it appears to be much better than I had recently imagined.
I predict that our future relationship with the EU will be far more cooperative and mutually beneficial than it has been over the last 40 years. We were always the unwelcome party guest (even though we brought lots of presents) and we knew this, yet we kept returning in the hope that things would change. ....

The Daily Telegraph telling readers how many hundreds of millions of pounds it had spent on the development, purchase and distribution of Covid vaccines.
However, the primary care health group to which my GP surgery belongs has no idea how many vaccines it will receive, or when. My wife is over 80 and would like to know.

On November 29, UK Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden announced that he would write to Netflix to demand a health warning be placed at the front of each episode of the streaming service s The Crown, which should emphasize that the series about the British monarchy is fiction, not fact.
