Date Time Raring to rove: Perseverance to land at Mars on Feb. 18 With under a million miles yet to travel and days to go, the Mars 2020 mission’s Perseverance craft zips smoothly through space at 48,000 mph on the last leg of an eight-month, 120-million-mile journey to our neighboring red planet.
