Published December 11, 2020, 2:41 PM The Parañaque City government started the distribution of bags of rice to more than 12,000 members of the tricycle operators and drivers’ association (TODA) and pedicab operators and drivers’ association (TODA) affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. According to Mayor Edwin Olivarez, about 446 PODA and TODA groups in the city were mostly affected by the pandemic. The local government will be distributing a total of 8,500 bags of rice donated to the city by the People’s Republic of China headed by Ambassador Huang Xilian and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI). PODA and TODA members from Barangays Tambo and Don Galo were the first to receive as an early Christmas gift from the city government.
