The Plymouth City Council voted to go with Apheus Solutions of Plymouth for the live streaming of city meetings during their meeting on Monday. City Attorney Sean Surrisi and the Mayor’s Assistant, Laura Mann meet with Bob Barcus of Apheus Solutions to discuss the options for streaming the various city meetings live. They found out that the quote from BIS of nearly $28,000 included many items they didn’t need to do a simply live-stream. The quote from Apheus Solutions was $7,174 and includes two PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras, a laptop to manage the live-stream and installation, setup and four days of training on the new equipment. ....
