While I have a bunch of stuff in progress, it's been a hectic week already, so I blew off the middle park of the day to go to Thacher State Park and take a hike with my camera. I got a whole bunch of photos from this, and later on, I'll sort them all and put the good ones in an album on G+. for now, though, I have two that are good photo-of-the-day candidates.

An Upstate New York legislator has resigned after making homophobic remarks, suggesting all gay people should be put on an island.
WRGB reports Albany County Legislator George Langdon IV, of Coeymans, N.Y., announced Monday he was stepping down and issued an apology.
“I again express my sincerest apologies to all those who were hurt by my rash and thoughtless statements. It was never my intention to single-out or target anyone,” Langdon said in a statement. “I truly believe every individual should have the right to life and liberty in their pursuit of happiness.”
