The mother of a Grenadier Guard has shared her pride after her son was chosen to be one of the pallbearers that carried Prince Philip s coffin at his funeral on Saturday. Dan Coghlan was one of the soldiers tasked with transporting the Duke of Edinburgh s coffin to a custom-built Land Rover that then carried the Duke to St George s Chapel in Windsor ahead of his funeral service and burial. Members of the Royal Marines then carried the coffin up to the West Steps of the chapel.
