Fees for exit screening
Elliot Samuel, Chief Laboratory Technician, in the interim before a firm arrangement is established with private labs, urged persons requiring exit screenings to make their applications early.

Persons requiring exit screening as it relates to COVID-19 can now access this service at private laboratories.
This, as the Ministry of Health moved to outsource testing to private laboratories, in light of the surge in the number of samples coming into the government’s molecular testing facility, where PCR tests are conducted. 
Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves, in his address to the nation on January 18, said that private sector labs are being approached to handle exit screenings, and that those persons requiring the labs’ service will be required to pay a fee.  ....
