Rescue chopper called to crash on major hinterland road

Paramedics, including critical care are assessing two patients following a motorcycle and vehicle crash at the intersection of Peachester Road and Taroona Court at 9.48am. A Queensland Police spokesman said it was believed the bike had collided with a ute towing a caravan. They said the road was blocked but was unsure if it was in both directions with the forensic crash unit notified. A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said one patient was uninjured while the other was being treated for leg, arm and abdominal injuries with a chopper en route.
