The spokesman said the woman had taken on some water and the rescue chopper was called for given the time she d spent in the water during the incident, which was first reported about 12.50am. The spokesman said the doctor and flight paramedic had deemed the woman stable enough to be taken by road from the scene, which the spokesman said was near the campsite. Paramedics drove the woman by ambulance to Gympie Hospital for further treatment and a Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service spokeswoman said the woman had since been discharged.

Subscriber only Rescue helicopters flew two Brisbane teenagers to hospital after their 4WD crashed and rolled at Teewah Beach on Saturday night. Paramedics and two rescue helicopters were called to Teewah Beach, Noosa North Shore, at 6.49am with reports of a single car rollover.

Paramedics, including critical care paramedics, attended the scene and had assessed another man in his 30s, but he did not require transport to hospital. Forensic Crash Unit police are investigating the Peachester Rd crash this morning which required a rescue helicopter. The LifeFlight Rescue helicopter landed near the scene, with Peachester Rd closed at Walkers Rd while the chopper landed and the rider was flown to hospital. He was flown to hospital in a serious but stable condition for further treatment.

After spending a night lost in bushland south west of Maryborough, a woman has been found safe and well.
It’s believed the woman, aged in her 60s, had been bushwalking with several other people yesterday afternoon, when she became separated from the group.
Queensland Police Service officers started searching for her, in the Mount Walsh National Park on Sunday night.
The Bundaberg RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter and State Emergency Service volunteers were called in to join the search effort this morning.
After scouring the area for nearly an hour, the chopper crew spotted a group of SES personnel who had just found the woman near Coongara Rock.
