JAMMU: Three anti-personnel mines were found and subsequently destroyed in a controlled explosion by a bomb disposal squad in a village near the international border in J&K’s Samba district on Tuesday. “Three rusted mines were found by resident Darshan Lal of Dera village while he was working in his fields around 7.45pm on Monday. He immediately informed the local police,” a police spokesperson said. Jain, who was also involved in the work to find the mythical river Saraswati, passed away at his residence in Jagadhri in Haryana s Yamunanagar district. He is survived by two sons and two daughters.
