A Catholic diocese in the central Philippines has created a ministry specifically to address physical and psychological problems brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Naval Diocese in Biliran province announced the ministry’s creation on Feb. 11, the World Day of the Sick. ....

Standalone ministry for healthcare, wellness created

In order to reach out to congregations of all faiths and denominations, a body that will work with parishes around health and wellness issues was created by a Catholic diocese in central Philippines.
According to CBCP News, the Diocese of Naval in Biliran province on Thursday, Feb. 11, launched the said standalone ministry for healthcare in line with the national celebration of the 2020 World Day of the Sick.

RICHMOND, Va. Born in a segregated hospital in the 1940s, Joseph Riley and his six siblings did not have an easy childhood in Richmond s Church Hill neighborhood.
No plumbing, stove heat, and an outhouse, Joseph s brother, James Riley, said about the house they grew up in.
But, James said that Joseph always kept his family smiling.
