“Savannah, to me, feels like home,” Evan Goetz told me last week. “I’m happy to be back. Goetz, who recently moved back to the area from Rock Hill, S.C., is the new executive director of the nonprofit Tybee Post Theater, which was constructed in 1930 as a movie theater for Fort Screven soldiers and their families. Since the completion of extensive renovations in 2015, the theater has kept a busy year-round schedule of concerts, movies, plays and other performances.
