Groton  An accident involving a school bus and two cars took place in the area of Allyn Street and Sandy Hollow Road on Tuesday morning.
One of the drivers was transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.
A Wednesday news release from Groton Town Police Department said that Carlos Suc-Osorio of New London, the person who was transported to the hospital, was driving south in a 2001 Honda Civic on Allyn Street north of the Sandy Hollow Road intersection.
A First Student School Bus, with Tammy Christina of Mystic driving and six students on board, also was traveling south behind the Honda Civic en route to the Groton Middle School, the release read. A third vehicle, a 2014 Ford Focus driven by Kevin Kircher of Mystic, was traveling north on Allyn Street approaching Sandy Hollow Road. ....
