The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale Central Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini has advised former President John Dramani Mahama to declare himself president-elect and form a parallel government.
The former Roads and Highways Minister stated that the verdict of the Electoral Commission is not a true representation of the choice of Ghanaians on December 7.
According to him, John Dramani Mahama won the election hands down and hence, needs to declare himself the President and form a parallel government.

Former Chairman of Confiscated Vehicles under the erstwhile late President Atta Mills’ regime, Carl Wilson, has called on the nation to insist on the mandate Ghanaians have given to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Parliament.
The Founder of Move Ghana said Ghanaians have given the presidency to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and majority seat in Parliament to the NDC and no attempt should be made to change this.
Mr. Wilson was speaking in an interview on Onua FM’s Yen Sempa while reacting to the hullabaloo on the parliamentary seats for the NPP and the NDC after the 2020 parliamentary elections. ....

Two defeated New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidates have congratulated the candidates who defeated them in the December 7, 2020, elections.
Dr Bernard Okoe Boye stood for re-election at Ledzokuku and Dr Ibrahim Anyars, who contested the Tamale seat, both lost out to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidates of Mr Ben Ayiku and Mr Ibrahim Mutala Mohammed, respectively.
In the just ended parliamentary election, Dr Okoe Boye polled 54,072 votes while the winner, Mr Ayiku, had 55,938 votes. The other two candidates, Mr Lord Adjetey of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM) garnered 674 while Ms Lucky Mensah of the National Democratic Party (NDP) had 137 votes. ....
