Author: WBIR Staff Updated: 7:51 PM EDT April 11, 2021 CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn. On April 05, 2021, Lieutenant Travis Bostic initiated a traffic stop on Appalachian Hwy 25 near the city of Jacksboro. During the process of the traffic stop, Lt. Bostic located two bags of what was described by the driver as heroin in the driver’s pocket. The driver also consented to a search of his vehicle. During the search, a large amount of cash, totaling approximately $80,000, was located in the vehicle, in which the driver admitted was proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs. ....
Woman, 3 children are hurt in crash Donna Smith/The Oak Ridger A Lake City woman and three children were injured Monday afternoon when a car she was driving went off Norris Freeway and struck a large tree head-on. The driver of the vehicle, 32-year-old Margo White-Oden, is to be or has been charged with a number of criminal offenses, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol preliminary incident report. The charges are driving under the influence (DUI), three counts of vehicular assault, three counts of violation of Haley s Law that deals with aggravated child abuse, child neglect or child endangerment, violation of lane usage law, two seatbelt offenses, financial responsibility law in regard to car insurance, and driving with no driver s license. ....
