Live From Jorma Kaukonen’s Fur Peace Ranch turned 20 years old. Over the course of the past two decades, internationally respected musician and ‘60s counterculture icon, Jorma Kaukonen (Jefferson Airplane, Hot Tuna) has worked with WOUB to record and subsequently broadcast live musical performances from his Fur Peace Ranch (FPR) guitar camp located (conveniently for WOUB) in Meigs County, OH. The lineup, which has remained stable since 2014, includes Sean Moloney on drums and keys, Blake Yokeley on guitar and Brent Collins on bass and lead vocals.  “Our new EP ‘indigo’ to me has more of a mature sound to it compared to earlier recordings,” Collins told me last week. “We definitely have found the sweet spot for our sound and writing I think. The three songs on this EP definitely encompass who we are as a band in this present moment.” Collins said that the songs on the record have been inspired by the ocean. One track is a new version of an older song that “has matured over time.”
