Vaccine site opens at McMillen Park Community Center The Journal Gazette The Indiana Department of Health will hold a mass vaccination site at the McMillen Park Community Center beginning today. The first dose of the Moderna vaccine will be administered from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning tomorrow through Thursday. The second dose will be administered May 11 through 13 at the same location. To make an appointment, residents can go to ourshot.in.gov or call 211. The Indiana State Department of Health reported Tuesday that 1,266,129 residents have been fully vaccinated with either a two-shot or single-shot regimen. In recent weeks, that number has been growing by about 25,000 a day, so about 19% of Hoosiers have been fully vaccinated. The percentage becomes greater if those younger than 16, who are not eligible to receive vaccination, are subtracted from the total population. ....
