La. deputies looking for man accused of shooting 5 at night club

HOUMA - Law enforcement officials are looking for a man known as Pee Pee who s accused of opening fire inside a night club over the weekend.
The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff s Office said the shooting happened at Lenny s Night Club in Houma around 1 a.m. Sunday and left five people hurt. Deputies arrived on the scene to the sound of gunshots and to find a crowd fleeing the club.
All five victims were taken to a hospital. Two of them were in critical condition at the time.
On Tuesday, the sheriff s office identified the suspect as Brandon Deshawn Johnson, 19. The department added that Johnson also goes by the name Pee Pee. ....

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Funeral will take place on Saturday 17 April 2021 at 3pm in St George’s Chapel, Windsor. The Funeral Service will begin with a National Minute’s Silence at three o’clock. The service will be preceded by a ceremonial procession inside the grounds of Windsor Castle.
The plans for the funeral are in line with The Duke of Edinburgh s own personal wishes, and the occasion will recognise and celebrate The Duke’s life and his more than 70 years of service to The Queen, the UK and the Commonwealth.
It will be a Ceremonial Royal Funeral, the same as for Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, rather than a State Funeral – something which is generally reserved for Monarchs. The plans have been approved by The Queen and reflect appropriate Government advice. ....

PORT GIBSON - The Louisiana Public Service Commission, in conjunction with officials in New Orleans and Arkansas, has filed a multi-million-dollar complaint against Entergy over the output of its nuclear plant in Mississippi.
The complaint alleges the Grand Gulf nuclear station in Port Gibson has been mismanaged for years, leading to sub-par power output from the plant from 2016 to 2020. The complaint names System Energy Resources Inc., which operates the plant, and Entergy, SERI s parent company. ....

YANGON Hundreds of people, including journalists, were arrested and dozens are believed to have been injured in Myanmar on Saturday as security forces indiscriminately attacked everyone in their path during a continuing crackdown on anti-military regime protesters across the country.
State-run Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV) announced in the evening that a total of 479 “protesters against the state” across the country have been detained. That is the highest number of single day arrests since the beginning of the week-long protest. ....
