Fat Joe, Blackstreet, Mya And Eve Announced For New London Festival Metrofest Thursday, 22 April 2021 The inaugural Metrofest will take place this summer. The R&B and hip hop festival will take over Trent Park in London on August 8, with Fat Joe (pictured) set to headline the Capital Xtra Reloaded Main Stage. The line up will also be spread over numerous other stages, including Flava Of The Month, DLT and Jungle Mania. Head below for further details. What? Leading the musical line up are Fat Joe, Blackstreet, Eve, Mya, Bobby V, Jon B and Tony Touch, with Fatman Scoop taking care of hosting duties. A WARRINGTON night spot that has been in the town centre for more than a decade has made the hard decision to permanently close. Showbar has not been able to open throughout the pandemic but has kept in touch with regulars on social media and has aimed to keep people s spirits up in lockdown with the likes of live streams of DJ sets. Now the sustained closure and circumstances beyond our control has led the team to permanently shut. On Facebook they said: It is with a very heavy heart that Showbar announces our permanent closure. Owing to circumstances beyond our control it is not viable to continue. ....
