Islamabad:The Shelter Homes ‘Panahgahs’ management has reenergized its last year’s drive at the facilities of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, aimed to transform them into healthy and eco-friendly places through active mobilization of human and financial resources.
The campaign titled Promoting Healthy Lives was launched in the wake of ballooning cases of coronavirus in the two cities during its third wave, Prime Minister’s Focal Person on Shelter Homes Naseem ur Rehman told this agency during his visit to Tarlai ‘Panahgahs’ where he was sensitizing the dwellers and service providers about the anti-coronavirus SOPs (standard operating procedures). ....

Ehsaas Kafaalat payments have begun: SAPM

Ehsaas has opened 8171 SMS campaign here on Tuesday to enable the new deserving households to check their eligibility under Ehsaas Kafaalat programme.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Sania Nishtar said that the deserving families desiring to find out their eligibility status in the Kafaalat programme should send their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) numbers on the SMS code 8171, which is activated from today.
“The 8171 SMS service has been made free of charge for the public and the entire cost will be borne by Ehsaas”, Dr Nishtar added.
“Ehsaas has begun the process of enrolling new beneficiaries, which have been identified on the basis of the 2021 Ehsaas survey which is now 81% complete”, she said. Beneficiaries identified through the survey undergo “wealth profiling” through a data analytics mechanism to further clean the list of beneficiaries. ....

Islamabad : Prime Minister’s Focal Person on Shelter Homes Naseem ur Rehman Sunday said telehealth kiosks were fully functional at four ‘Panahgahs’ of the federal capital, providing free treatment to its dwellers with underlying conditions.
He told APP that the initiative was taken by the shelter homes management in collaboration with EZ Shifa, which was a private company, virtually connecting volunteer teams of doctors, from Pakistan and abroad with marginalized segments of the society.
EZ Shifa set up its first ‘Apna doctor telehealth kiosk’ recently at Tarnol Panahgah, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan. ....
