Mick Price says star colt Profiteer has continued to improve ahead of his next test in the Group 2 Todman Stakes at Randwick on Saturday.
The two-year-old has been devastatingly brilliant in both starts to date, blowing his rivals away in extremely fast time at Flemington on debut before claiming a stunning 5.3-length victory in the $2 Million Inglis Millennium at Randwick last time out.
As impressive as those performances were, Profiteer will face tougher opposition on paper on Saturday, but Price is confident the colt has taken further steps forward in his month between runs.

The death of Mikaela Claridge in August 2019 was tragic, a beautiful young woman with a beaming smile and a joy for life and only married for four months was suddenly gone.
I have two young daughters and shed a tear for Mikaela and her family and friends every time I see or read a story about her.

OMAHA, NEBRASKA (AP) – A major winter storm blanketed parts of the middle of the country with snow that continued into late yesterday in some areas, disrupting traffic and closing some coronavirus testing sites.
The United States (US) National Weather Service said at least four inches of snow is expected across most of an area stretching from central Kansas northeast to Chicago and southern Michigan.
Parts of southeast Nebraska and western Iowa got more than three times that much by yesterday morning.
The weather service forecast the light snowfall that began around sunset Monday in northern Illinois got heavier overnight, with accumulation totalling about three to sixinches by early yesterday.
