Covid: Students call for university accommodation refunds

Students in Wales want partial refunds for university accommodation because they are not spending as much time there due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The National Union of Students Wales (NUS Wales) said students shouldn t be penalised financially for following Welsh Government guidelines.
Two Welsh universities have offered students refunds.
Staggered returns are being introduced in order to help stop the spread of the virus in student accommodation according to the Welsh Government.
But some students feel they should not be paying for student accommodation when they are not there. ....

Wales Health Minister vows to help dispel BAME vaccine lies

Wales health minister says he wants to stop false information which might put off people from ethnic minorities from taking the coronavirus vaccine.
Race Council Cymru (RCC) said lies were being shared online and urged the Welsh Government to take action.
Health minister Vaughan Gething said he was disappointed to hear of a campaign of targeted disinformation .
Vaccinations started in the UK last week following the approval of the Pfizer/BioNTech jab.
RCC s Patience Bentu called for community champions to spread positive messages about the vaccine.
