Kendallville trail project gets share of state grant NIKI KELLY | The Journal Gazette INDIANAPOLIS – Kendallville is receiving part of $30 million in trail grants announced Thursday. Gov. Eric Holcomb and Indiana Department of Natural Resources Director Dan Bortner said 18 communities and nonprofit organizations will receive a combined $29.6 million for 70 miles of new trail development as a part of the second round of the Next Level Trails program.
