MORRIS â When Brian Fisherâs winter break from his college studies began on Dec. 10 and he realized he wouldnât be returning to school until the first of February, he decided to volunteer in his hometown of Morris. âI believe that we are in a rough period right now and more people need help than ever before. I wanted to help out in any way I could in giving back to the community,â he said. Fisher is a junior at Canisius College, a Catholic and Jesuit university in Buffalo. N.Y., where he is majoring in health and wellness and minoring in sports psychology. He is also the president of Griffins Giving Back, the Canisius College Lionâs Club chapter, a service club that encourages the students to become engaged in learning about the struggles people face every day, along with the small ways that students can give back to local organizations, a press release said. ....
