Maniapoto marae get facelifts More Related Stories Related Podcast Maniapoto Māori Trust Board says more than 130 people are now working on marae renovations throughout the rohe. Chair Keith Ikin says they include whānau who have attended a five-day work readiness wānanga run in partnership with Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, covering first aid, health and safety, use of power tools, driver licensing and other workplace issues. Twenty marae across the rohe received support from the Provincial Development Unit’s Covid recovery fund, and 14 of them have clustered under the board.
