Edelweiss Village, the highly regarded assisted living residence at Deutsches Altenheim, has partnered with Rose s Bounty Food Pantry during the pandemic to help people in the local community who are experiencing food insecurity.
One of the most widespread effects of COVID-19 is food insecurity, said Kathy Labbe, Executive Director of Edelweiss Village. In Massachusetts as well as the entire country, people of all ages, including children, families and seniors, are struggling with hunger.
