To the Editor: Editor s Note: This letter is in reference to the town s public hearing on July 13 to take comments on the proposed changes to the town s zoning regulations. Those regulations include items that will affect a proposed eco-resort at the end of Benson Road, which this letter writer is referencing here. Re: Manchester Select Board public hearing regarding Boorn Brook Farm and the proposed bylaw changes affecting the aquifer. The Town of Manchester will be having a public hearing on July 13 at the town office beginning at 7 p.m. and anyone can voice their opinion on the bylaws amendments to the aquifer that we can certainly do without. ....

Correcting record about enforcement at eco-resort To the Editor: We would like to correct our column about the non-enforcement of the zoning violation at the âEco-Resortâ on Benson Road. (Time for Town to take its responsibilities seriously in the Journalâs May 28 edition.) Information was received on May 21 that enforcement would not be pursued. Â MANCHESTER â A meeting between representatives of a planned eco-retreat at the end of Benson Road, some of the neighbors and town staff may have the planned road improvements moving forward. While there is still opposition, the gathering April 23 was able to identify some areas where the town can mandate changes to the plan to alleviate some of the neighborsâ concerns. Town Manager John OâKeefe said the group, which included Jeff Williams, director of the Department of Public Works, Christina Haskins, town engineer, neighbors Brian Benson and John Benson, and representatives of the developer, including architect Kirk Moore, walked the road. ....
