Manager Mackenzie Davis says the store is now licensed, and began selling pot on Saturday. Sales will also begin at their May Street location in the near future. Davis says it feels good to get approved, noting the store has been applying for a license since the province first opened applications. “I believe it’s a good thing that more stores are getting approved. The rollout of recreational cannabis stores was initially very slow, and the government is definitely ramping up licensing,” he told our newsroom over email. ....
