Alibaba Cloud will equip LUNA Academy, an online educational platform jointly launched by DITO CME and CloudSwyft, with its cloud computing and storage products, including Elastic Compute Service (ECS) and Object Storage Service (OSS), to ensure a smooth operation of virtual labs for learners taking up its courses.
“This collaboration with Alibaba Cloud will provide Filipinos opportunities to expand competencies as members of the workforce amid the challenges posed by the pandemic,” stressed Donald Lim, chief operating officer of DITO CME.
“Our partnership with Alibaba Cloud underpins our shared mission to improve knowledge and capability of Filipinos in the fields of cloud computing,” added CloudSwyft Founder and CEO Dann Angelo De Guzman.

LUNA Academy, a Philippines-focused online education platform developed by DITO CME and CloudSwyft, partners with the local government of Cauayan, Isabela to digitally upskill its citizens through providing affordable and convenient skills training and world-class online certifications, linking them to better career opportunities.
“LUNA Academy is addressing the needs of the times by providing a venue to upgrade and enhance skills despite being stuck at home during the quarantine. This is also very much aligned with our city’s vision to be smart and sustainable, and also answers to the UN Sustainable Development Goals of providing quality education and decent work and economic growth,” said Mayor Bernard Faustino Dy of Cauayan City, Isabela during the recently held virtual signing ceremony.
