Two men have been arrested and charged with murder for allegedly killing a man during a road rage episode in Siletz.
Gavin Whitehawk Epperson, 27, and Donovan Eugene Carey-Bennett, 23, both of Siletz, were arrested Tuesday evening and face charges in connection to the shooting death of Richard Allen Mann, 36, of Logsden.

According to a probable cause statement, Epperson told Lincoln County Sheriff s Office Det. Abigail Dorsey he intentionally shot Richard Mann several times with a firearm in the cemetery on Government Hill Road . after a road rage incident on the night of February 19, 2021 and caused his death. ....

Two suspects arrested in Siletz, Oregon murder case

SILETZ, Ore. – Investigators say they’ve arrested two men connected to a murder case in Lincoln County.
The investigation started on the morning of February 20, when Richard Allen Mann, 36, of Logsden, was found dead in the town of Siletz. It was later confirmed he’d been shot.
Three days later, law enforcement carried out search warrants at two homes in the 500 block of Tolowa Court, roughly a half mile from where Mann’s body was found. They seized a vehicle and evidence during the searches.
After interviews and gathering more evidence, police made two arrests in Mann’s shooting death on Tuesday, March 2. ....
