She especially loves to do this after it rains. The 135-pound white Labrador Retriever, who turns nine years old at the end of March, always ends up “all stinky.” She also loves to swim, but hates getting a bath. Her owner, Rebecca Mulvain struggles to get Marley clean in her home’s bathroom. âSo she would run out there and roll in the mud and get all stinky,â Mulvain said. “Yup, if I’m having this problem…I cannot be alone in this struggle.â ....
Residents who are excited for St. Patrick’s Day can celebrate a little earlier this year. “Leprechauns are on the loose along Greensprings Interpretive Trail, and it’s your chance to strike gold!” according to the James City County Parks & Recreation’s Facebook post. “Track down our Irish friends and then complete the scavenger hunt quiz as you wander past beaver ponds, wetlands and forests.” The scavenger hunt is free and open to the public. However, those wishing to participate who are younger than 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
