(AP) A second man has been sentenced to decades in prison in the murder of a sleeping woman at her family’s blueberry farm in New Jersey 3 1/2 years ago. Tyler Dralle, 23, of Vineland was sentenced Friday in Camden County Court to 40 years in prison. The sentence came two weeks after his co-defendant, Kwamere Benjamin, 20, of New Castle, Delaware, was sentenced to 38 years in prison. Jurors convicted the two in January of murder, burglary, weapon offenses, and related charges in the June 2017 slaying of 45-year-old Deanna Scordo at the Winslow Township farmhouse. The victim ran a rehabilitation company and lived on the family farm, officials said. ....
CAMDEN - A 23-year-old Vineland man has received a 40-year prison term for his role in a fatal home-invasion robbery, authorities say. Tyler Dralle was sentenced two weeks after an accomplice received a 38-year sentence in connection with the June 2017 murder of Deanna Scordo, 45, of Winslow Township. Scordo was shot several times by intruders at her home on a blueberry farm on the 700 block of Bairdmore Avenue, according to the Camden County Prosecutor s Office. Dralle and Kwamere Benjamin, 20, of New Castle were convicted of felony murder, armed robbery and other crimes after a six-week trial that began in November 2019. The prosecutor s office alleged the men entered Scordo s home during a predawn burglary, then fled with $276 in rolled coins. ....
