Published on Monday, July 12, 2021 North Greenville University (NGU) and TriState Deaf School of Theology (TDST) are partnering to provide the NGU Bridge Program to offer select undergraduate courses for the 2021-22 academic year. The NGU Bridge Program is designed to provide accredited transferable college credit to qualified TDST students in support of their educational development. “NGU has a long history of supporting education for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and we are grateful for a variety of partnerships we enjoy in this important area,” said NGU President Dr. Gene C. Fant, Jr. “The TriState School is another opportunity for us to apply our mission – equipping transformational leaders for church and society’ – in this important community and serving the Kingdom with these programs.” ....
Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) approved a resolution stating the conditions that it will construct and operate a treatment facility in Tigerville. The resolution, approved by its board Monday, comes after Tigerville residents asked ReWa s executive officers to sign off on a list of stipulations under which the community is willing to co-exist with the treatment facility. ReWa purchased property off State 414 and has said it plans to build a new treatment facility to replace the outdated one that serves North Greenville University and the Cherokee Valley neighborhood. ReWa owns the facility that currently serves NGU and Cherokee Valley. The site of its new facility abuts the university athletic fields and Famoda, a historic angus cattle farm. ....
