Lozier warns of “sophisticated” scams targeting residents From Staff Reports Scammers claiming to be Publisher’s Clearing House representatives are targeting Beaver County residents in higher numbers, District Attorney Dave Lozier warned on Monday. Older adults and other vulnerable populations are often at the receiving end of these scams, designed to separate victims from large sums of money. If Bright’s first-degree homicide charges are held over by a district judge, Beaver County District Attorney Dave Lozier’s office will meet with case investigators to discuss if her alleged actions are punishable by death under Pennsylvania statutes. Bright’s preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for May 3. ....
