LIVERMORE The owners of Barnyard All Terrain told selectpersons Tuesday night that they want to maintain good communications with officials, a month after a mud run attended by roughly 1,700 people tied up police, fire and medical services in the region.
“Jill and I want to keep the lines of communication open with the town,” owner David Lovewell said. “We stirred things up a little bit. We were stressed as were a lot of people.”
On June 22 the owners met with Livermore officials and representatives from state police, the Sheriff’s Office and Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife to talk about what happened, Town Administrative Assistant Aaron Miller told selectpersons. He said they stressed communication and suggestions to improve lighting and informational signs and traffic.

TRUSSVILLE The Trussville Police Department has focused heavily on increased drug activity in the area of Quality Inn Trussville and the focus is paying off.
Multiple arrests have been made in the past several weeks. Arrests for drugs have led to the capture of persons wanted by other law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Marshals Service. Hotel management said they are doing all they can to combat criminal activity.
On April 30, 2021, a pair was arrested after officers found methamphetamine, a THC vape pen and other paraphernalia in a vehicle. Terry Allen Partridge, Jr., 36, of Shelby, Alabama, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Patridge was also found to have an outstanding warrant with Vestavia Hills Police. Bridgette Pence, 32, also of Shelby Alabama, was arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
