Sunderland AFC is delighted to announce David Preece as the clubâs new first-team goalkeeping coach. Preece, who began his playing career on Wearside, joins the clubâs backroom staff on a permanent basis after assisting the first team throughout their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2021-22 campaign. After leaving Sunderland in 1997, Preece went on to feature for several other clubs, including Darlington, Aberdeen, Silkeborg IF, Barnsley and Lincoln City. The 44-year-old has also spent time with the Imps in a coaching capacity, with his most-recent role based in Sweden as a goalkeeping coach at Allsvenskan outfit Ostersunds FK. Upon joining SAFC, Preece said: âIt would be an understatement to say that I m delighted to be back at the club. Iâm looking forward to the season ahead and all I want to do now is to get to work alongside the great staff and players already in place and do whatever I can to help the club progress. ....

It was held on Jan. 28 via Zoom due to COVID-19 restrictions. BYUH honored, celebrated and recognized the years of service provided by employees and presented exemplary employee awards at the event. A part of the Faculty of Arts & Letters, Han said, “I am very grateful to have the opportunity to serve in this great University which has been like a dear family to me.
