MacNeill Pride Group Appoints CEO MacNeill Pride Group (MPG) announced the appointment of Keith Bornholtz as chief executive officer and four new additions to its board. MPG’s brands include ORCA, GCI Outdoor, PrideSports, Freestyle Rocker, RoadTrip Rocker, SoftSpike, CHAMP, Pride Golf Tee and Professional Tee System. MPG is a portfolio company of Centre Partners. Bornholtz, who has over 30 years of experience in branded consumer products, joins MPG from Central Garden & Pet, where he was president of the pet distribution business unit and led a five-year strategic transformation of their national multi-channel platform. Bornholtz previously held senior leadership positions at Yes To Inc., Big Heart Pet Brands, Clorox and Procter & Gamble. He will be based at MPG’s headquarters in Nashville, TN. ....

Photo by Robert Gill PreviousNext Dartmouth today announced it will endow, expand, and name its globally recognized foreign relations fellows program in honor of John Rosenwald, Jr. 52, Tuck 53, chair emeritus of the Dartmouth Board of Trustees and counsel to generations of Dartmouth leaders. The postdoctoral fellows program, piloted in 2012 with grant funding from the Carnegie Corporation of New York, brings to Dartmouth leading young scholars who are working on pressing, complex international security questions. Rosenwald s friends and classmates have led a quiet campaign to raise $12 million to endow the program in tribute to his 70 years of leadership and service to Dartmouth. ....

She hasn t made up her mind whether it will be business, marketing or education. She just knows she wants to give back to her community. To enrich people s lives the way they have enriched hers, she said. Mackay s good grades, hard work and community service helped her earn a scholarship from the McConnell Foundation to pay her way through university. That makes her part of an elite group of North State students. Only 30% of students who apply to the scholarship program are accepted, said David Tanner, the senior program officer of scholarships and higher education at the McConnell Foundation. And over 90% of the students who are accepted, graduate, he said. ....
