Renaisance Frolic, a 6-year-old by Paynter ridden by Edgard Zayas, covered the firm course in 1:40.87. While Noble Indy set an opening quarter in :23.59 and half in :48.32, Zayas rated Renaisance Frolic along the inside before moving four-wide around the final turn after Caribou Club took a narrow lead into the stretch. But Renaisance Frolic came flying outside of Max K.O. to get up in time. Caribou Club finished fourth and Vow Me Now, who lacked room entering the stretch, was fifth. ....

Ruhling is no stranger to charity work. The Baltimore native did nonprofit work frequently throughout his 15 years working in the auto industry, and when opened Great 8 Memorabilia, a Baltimore sports collectibles shop, last year, he imagined using the space to host fundraising and nonprofit events. ....
Seven arrested in Washington County drug sweep CHERRYFIELD The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency has arrested seven people in an ongoing sweep that began Jan. 12, according to MDEA Commander Scott Pelletier. “For the past month, MDEA agents initiated an investigation after identifying a New Bedford, Mass.-based drug trafficking network that was trafficking significant quantities of cocaine, cocaine base and heroin/fentanyl for distribution in Hancock and Washington counties,” Pelletier said. “During the investigation agents revealed out-of-state dealers would travel to Maine and recruit local drug distributors to increase their customer base. The out-of-state dealers distributed their drugs from local residences in exchange for money and/or drugs. Agents conducted undercover purchases of illegal drugs from the group.” ....
