Will Anyone Have The Nerve To Tell "Dr. Jill" Biden To Stop Insisting On Her Comic Title? | Blog Posts

So I often refer to a person with Ph.D. rather than an M.D. as “Dr. So-and-So.”
But insisting that other people call
you Doctor, especially when you got a doctorate in Education (which 95% of the time is just a way to pad your pay from the public school district), is pretty tacky.
Mick Jagger, I’m guessing, doesn’t stop people who say “Mr. Jagger, may I have your autograph” and tell them, “Address me only as ‘Sir Mick:’ I have been knighted by Her Majesty.” Or maybe he does. Who knows?

Sheridan Man Receives Prison Sentence for Sexually Abusing a Minor – Sheridan Media

A sentencing hearing was held Tuesday in Fourth Judicial District Court for a Sheridan man that was convicted of Sexual Abuse of a Minor following a four-day jury trial in March. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
Last June, 49-year-old David Ingersoll was arrested and charged with Second Degree Sexual Abuse of a Minor for having sex with a 15-year-old in the Walmart bathroom in July of 2019. He was convicted of the crime by a jury on March 4 in District Court in Sheridan.
At Tuesday’s sentencing hearing, Sheridan County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Christina White during the State’s argument and recommendations for sentencing, stated that Ingersoll has an extensive criminal history and has not shown any accountability for the crime that he was convicted of in March. She said the defendant has not taken any responsibility for his actions and recommended a sentence of 16 to 20 years in prison. Ingersoll while addressing the Court, maintained his innocence an ....

America’s 46th president will bring the values of a UD education to the White House
In November of 2016, Fred Sears visited the White House to see his longtime friend and former University of Delaware classmate, Vice President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Sears brought his grandchildren along for the trip, and the kids were regaled by Biden’s stories — nostalgic yarns centered on those UD days. At one point, Sears said, Biden walked his guests down the hallowed hall to share some of these college tales with President Barack Obama in the Oval Office. Somewhere along the way, Sears remembers spotting UD paraphernalia in the West Wing — ask him to rack his brain, and he will tell you it may have been a photo of Biden playing on the freshman football team that ....
