A new indoor COVID-19 vaccination site launched at Scottsdale s WestWorld exhibition center Thursday morning, getting Arizonans out of the summer heat as the widespread rollout continues. The Arizona Department of Health Services, Cigna and Scottsdale are among those partnering to operate the site. Through June 30, it will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week, accepting both walk-ins and appointments. At a news conference Thursday, Kim Shepard, president of Cigna’s Arizona market, said with the help of about 95 volunteers, the hope is to distribute 5,000 Pfizer shots a day.
