Dr. David Fera advises anyone sore about the district’s COVID-19 vaccination program to point fingers elsewhere.
Local heath officials have been unfairly “taking a lot of heat” from the community, he says. But the root of the problem is the fact there continues to be more individuals “eligible” than there is available COVID-19 vaccine, due primarily to the province expanding eligibility criteria, Fera, Algoma Ontario Health Team tri-chair, told this week’s Sault Area Hospital board of directors virtual meeting.
