June 9th, 2021 | By Kevin Tierney During the June 8th meeting of West Conshohocken’s Borough Council, there was a presentation by representatives of Merion Ridge, LLC on a proposal to construct five homes off Valley Road on the West Conshohocken side of the border with Lower Merion Township. The developer had made a presentation to the borough council previously and members of the council asked the developer to rethink the development to construct the homes on the flatter portion of the property. The property has some high ridges. The developer did come back and reveal such a plan, however, it has decided to move forward with its original plan as it seeks variances from the zoning hearing board. The developer will also eventually need a conditional use approval from the borough council. The zoning hearing is scheduled for July 10th. ....

It was an attack Hicks, who owns a laundromat in Valley Village, said he saw coming. “I was so intent on making sure he didn’t hit me over the head that my first reaction was to defend myself,” he said. ....

Mingtiandi Username Embassy Golf Links in Bengaluru Indian developer Embassy Group and Ivanhoe Cambridge, a real estate investment arm of Canada’s second-largest pension fund, have launched a platform to fund acquisition and development of sustainable, office-led business parks in key urban centres of India. Embassy will lead real estate development, project management, leasing and operations under the platform, while Ivanhoe Cambridge will leverage its expertise in investment, the partners said in a Tuesday press release. The platform will have investment capacity of $500 million from the two partners, with Ivanhoe Cambridge and Embassy respectively investing at an 80:20 ratio. The seed asset for the platform will be the first phase of the 60 acre (24.3 hectare) Embassy East Business Park on Whitefield Main Road in Bengaluru. ....
