Funding Boost For Māori Housing

· $380 million delivering about 1,000 new homes for
Māori including papakāinga housing, repairs to about 700
Māori-owned homes and expanding support services.
·
Ring fencing of $350 million for infrastructure to enable
housing for Māori from the $3.8 billion Housing
Acceleration Fund.
· Funding to strengthen MAIHI
approaches and partnerships with iwi and Māori to deliver
more whenua-based housing and papakāinga.
· Better
quality housing through repairs of existing housing to
improve social and health outcomes.
The Government is
delivering on its commitment to improve housing for Māori
in Budget 2021.

Sold-out Taranaki Wellbeing Conference a huge success - Chamber of Commerce

Clinical psychologist Nigel Latta was a guest speaker at the Wellbeing Conference for which Paul Rangiwahia was MC.
More than 250 people attended the first Wellbeing Conference organised by the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce.
The event, held at the Devon Hotel on Thursday, looked at mental, financial, physical/nutritional and general workplace health and wellbeing.
Speakers included psychologist Nigel Latta, Be Pure founder Ben Warren, Tui Ora chief executive and Mental Health and Wellbeing Commission chairman Hayden Wano, and Xero managing director Craig Hudson.
Running alongside the conference was Wellbeing Expo, with businesses from the sector exhibiting products and services. ....
